BA (Manchester)
My first degree was an in Textile Technology (Salford Royal College of Advanced Technology, ATI, 1962). I worked in the textile industry and in distribution until 1992 when I entered the School of Geography (BA Hons. 1995). I have been a research officer since 1996.
