I am a social statistician and have previously worked in Sheffield and Southampton. I moved to CCSR, Manchester in 1998.

I lead the Social Statistics Research Group and carry out research that primarily involves applications of multilevel modelling in social science. Recently I have also developed an interest in Social Network Analysis.

I am at present Director of Graduate Studies at CCSR.
