Research interests
With a sound background in the discipline of Translation Studies, I have branched out over the last few years in undertaking research at the intersection of Memory Studies, Intercultural Studies, and Media Studies.
My main research interests can be categorized under the following headings:
Memory Studies and the distant past (the Middle Ages).
The discursive construction of Anglo-French relations in the British media.
Translation theory and translation research methodology.
The translation of 19th and 20th century French literature into English.
