Current Research Projects:

The Right to Silence: Principle, Pragmatism and Policymaking: monograph with Routledge-Cavendish, due out 2012.

The Impact of the Criminal Process on Healthcare Ethics and Practice (co-investigator with S. Devany; PI M. Brazier) AHRC/J005045/1 (01.10.11 – 30.09.12)

Research Supervision:

Dr Quirk has supervised six PhD students on topics including: anti-social behaviour orders, plea-bargaining, criminal evidence, victim involvement in the judicial process and life without parole sentences.

She is willing to supervise others in her areas of research.
